This quintessential backyard wedding that took on a tropical, modern twist was brought to life by the amazing Jubilee Events team. The Carriage House was one of the first aspects that the bride and her mother wanted to incorporate into the wedding day. With exposed brick and white window panes laced with growing ivy, the 200 year old structure ultimately became the main inspiration for the wedding design and served as the cocktail bar and lounge area, since that would be a widely visited space for guests.
The ceremony was captured beautifully in a natural setting which highlighted the luxuriance of the surrounding evergreen trees. The crisp white chairs popped against the lush greenery providing a nice background contrast to the couple saying "I Do".
Looking right out from the Cottage House you could see the cocktail hour location which is where our gorgeous Sperry Tent would set the stage for all the memories of dinner and merriment that night! Keeping with the white and green theme, the tent took on a classic bohemian vibe, with towering palms from Flower & Flowers and clean white linens. The mother-of-the-bride is an interior decorator so seeing this design come to life was especially fun - a true planner/client design collaboration!
Diana from Jubilee Events loved how beautiful Sperry Tents are on their own and thought it would be the perfect visual setting for this wedding. With that idea in mind, they did not want to do too much to cover the ceiling so choosing mismatched basket lanterns from Drape Art Designs mixed with the classic bistro lights gave just enough ambiance to the dinner, followed by that luminous romantic glow once everyone made their way to the dance floor.
