The future Mr. and Mrs. originally had planned a larger wedding at an area indoor venue. Instead of adding the stress of postponing a wedding or seeking a new venue amidst ever-changing occupancy guidance to the already stressful wedding planning process, they chose to relocate their nuptials to the backyard. Every one of the 50 guests invited were closest of their dear friends and family.

Thanks to the incredible efforts of Ashley Douglass Events this couple easily transitioned their dream wedding into one that was both safe yet celebratory due to Covid-19 regulations!

They decided to create a charming ceremony space under a 32 Round Sperry Tent to still keep each part of their wedding day personal and special. They live-streamed and recorded their ceremony as it took place, with a password, for the other guests not present to join the most important part of the day.

Forever in Bloom shared some insight into the beautiful floral design throughout this wedding day -

"The brides dad had a beautiful garden of Dahlias and hand-cut several blooms for us to add to her bouquet and some of the additional designs."

Additional flowers included ranunculus, garden roses, lisianthus, and spray roses.

The color scheme was remnant of a late summer sunset with blended hues of pink, peach, apricot, and orange. A variety of eucalyptus foliage enhanced the natural, yet still elegant feel.

The centerpieces were a bit low-key in style and size, so we created a stunning "floral chandelier" that was suspended from the center of the tent. This display was really a showstopper and gave that wow factor that many brides like to have in their wedding decor!"

Everyone was tested as well and guests did wear masks for most of the evening. With many people in the health field in attendance, in addition to Bride Deanna being a doctor at an area hospital, safety was a top priority.

This was another wedding that demonstrates a few things- (1) letting guests know what to expect beforehand helps them feel in control and relaxes them and (2) a smaller wedding is just as fun!
